To fix or not to fix? Lenovo Yoga 13

My awesome aunt gave me here old Lenovo Yoga. I wa looking for a windows tablet to run some business stuff and this would suit my needs. Problem is, a broken screen.
I can get a new scren for $140 and I have changed many screens. (I even have the iFixit complete professional tool set)
But is it worth putting that much money into a computer made in 2013? (though I type this on my trusty desktop I built in 2010)
Just mulling it over. I just hate to put that into it and it not work or have further problems. I just heard the Yoga was a good machine and I know it was over $1k brand new.

If that's the only thing wrong with it, $140 doesn't seem bad. My desktop is from like 2008 and still runs perfectly

I would fix it. It has an i5 and will support up to 8gb memory so it will be useful for many more years.

Same here.

I occasionally run Solidworks 2012 on mine too. Ironically, it takes just as long to open up Word 2013 as it does Solidworks or Gimp
