Old news, but the ESPN commentary is starting to piss me off

They just flatout said that that "LSU should just come to terms with the fact that they can't get continually get the success they had under Saban."
Errrr....what the frick?
Considering it's not like Saban did things never done at LSU before or even out of the norm for most of LSU history....da frick does that mean? That we are playing "above" our place?
All reports are as if we are just having one bad season. I want Les to stay, and my ideal is if this causes him to wake the frick up about his offensive approaches, but this has been a 3-4 year downward spiral.
When Tennessee/Texas went through the exact same thing, I don't remember them being so damned negative about it. Or negative about the call at all.

I'm jumping around on 98.1 and 104.5 streams waiting for something pregame

Stop it, stop it, stop it! He will not "wake up", he will not change, he will not adapt to the modern changes in offensive philosophy. He has an archaic mindset combined with stubbornness, a really bad combination in this situation. It's time to move on.

Neither Tennessee nor Texas shitcanned their all-time winningest coach for going 4 years without a national championship game appearance.

Couldn't give less than a shite what espn has to say.

He hasn't even won the west in 4 years

That is not fricking what this is about.
Les doesn't have a hot seat losing 5 in a row to Bama if he wasn't batting around .6 in the SEC West year after year after year.

There you go. AND THE WHOLE COUNTRY AGREES except for some hard-headed LSU fans.
LSU FANS!!! KNOW YOUR PLACE !!!

Oh, I don't expect it.
But you are blind if you think he was always like this. It was the events of 2008 that completely changed his approach.
So there is a hope, no matter how small, that he will get his head out of his arse.
Don't confuse that with an argument that if only he gets one more year maybe it will be different. It's just a statement of my ideal.

EXACTLY !!
Why should Les change ? He's the winningest coach LSU ever had. He wins 80 percent of his games. He's an unparalleled recruiter.

Just do what I do.
Say to yourself: " I am no better or worse than anyone else on this earth. But I really don't give a shot about this situation anymore "

ESPN is garbage and always will be. And, the media just wants us to stay strapped to Miles so Saban has it easier. They are blatantly telling us that we are not allowed to move on past Saban and not allowed to have success unless he's our coach. You didn't hear them telling Florida that when Spurrier left. You didn't hear them telling Michigan that when Carr left. But, now because LSU wants to finally move on from Miles, we are somehow wrong for wanting more success from our team. LSU is just something they use to make Saban look good. Turn the channel. ESPN says nothing worth listening to.

It's ironic how ESPN suddenly thinks Les is irreplaceable after pimping so hard for the mulligan game that lead to his demise

From a network that's been sucking Leslie off all week, I'd hardly call that a ringing endorsement.
