Outside looking in-the rest of the nation mostly agree its dumb to fire a coach with Les Miles resume-he will probably go 8-3 this year and possibly win a bowl game-outside of Louisiana, that does not happen.

Btw, Osborne coached from 73 through 97. Generally considered a legend. Didn't win his first national title until 94.
