Kirk Ferentz has won a lot of games at Iowa with inferior talent. He does it by teaching the players not to beat themselves. They play disciplined on defense.
Offensively, Iowa has been a team that plays safe and conservative. The difference is that they utilize efficiency in the passing game to keep balance. If LSU ran the kind of offense Iowa (F*ING IOWA!) does, I swear they'd be winning a lot more games.
