How can he play LSU 3 times if Michigan never offered?

There was a big SI spread about it. Miles agent said that he kept calling, but the Michigan AD wouldnt return their calls.. He was out sailing. Then the Herbstreit thing aired, so LSU locked him down just based on the rumors. The agent advised Miles to take it because of no contact with Michigan. His exact words

But make no mistake the rumors were started by Miles having his agent seek out an offer. However, Lloyd Carr was actively working to make sure that didnt happen

And when Hoke was hired, Les flirted again, so Brandon flew in to BR to tell him there would be no job offer. This I know because before his plane left for BR, Hoke had accepted and friends of mine were prepping the hall at Michigan where the announcement was to be made the next morning.

And we know when Harbaugh was hired, he was the one and only target, so guess what? No raise, no new contract. It didnt work a 3rd time

His first 3 years he used someones elses QBs to get there The only other years he did it was when he was forced to play Jarrett Lee, even tho he hated the thought of doing that, or putting all his eggs into a JuCo transfer (see Chizik) So the 10+ seasons werent because of his want to recruit and develop

Miles received two raises at LSU not 3. And I would argue he didnt get the raise during the harbough hire because he hadnt just won the sec the season prior.

I dont know man, you seem full of shite. The first contract shouldnt matter if he flirted with michigan or not. LSu signed a contract saying he would be the highest paid coach for winning the title, he did that in 07. That is on LSU for making those stipulations, not Les Miles.

The second raise you may be right, but then again it came in the same calendar year he played for a national title. I dont think that's a coincidence. And if the numbers you posted were correct, then Les took a pay cut to stay at LSU. And if it was about money, then why not leave for Arkansas when they have a better deal on the table?

None of what you are saying adds up.
