Les Knows he is gone and has been told, he is just keeping quiet and going business as usual? Or do you think Alleva really hasn't said anything to him?

Les knows through his agent he's done

I don't think this past Sunday's meeting with Alleva was your typical casual brunch meetin.

Bass would be involved in this from the beginning of the conversation if this was happening. So, yes 100% he knows if it is happening.

Coaches can't talk or be contacted... but agents definitely can. Weird rules.

I'd imagine Les' agent has had feelers out for the last 2 weeks regarding job opportunities for Les.

Give me one reason LSU would have told Les agent he is getting fired?

to let him resign/retire if he chooses instead of being fired

Begin buyout negotiations, all formalities

What's to negotiate Chad? Fire him = pay him

If Les isn't going to retire, he's not getting 15 from LSU, it'd be clean cut if lets say les walked w 9 or whatever magical number is.

"Hey, you want $2 mil per year over 8 years, or $10 mil today?"
Everything can be negotiated if something is being settled. Lawyers can go to work.

Only way Miles doesn't take the full 14/15, whatever it is, is if he wants to keep coaching elsewhere.
Only then would he take less.
And it would be a very big lump that he kept regardless of taking a new job

Yeah I got you, read your stuff earlier. Thanks for the info, do we have a new DC as well. I understand if the name can't be dropped

I don't claim to know anything, you do.
Will you permanently self ban if Jimbo is not the coach of LSU come monday?

Pretty sure ANY compensation Les earns LSU can request documents and LSU can deduct dollar for dollar less what LSU will pay during time period of contract. You really think they gonna do all that or hammer out a buyout...
