Dural - high arse pass, torn hamstring (last game)

Colin Jeter - high arse pass leading right into another player, laid him out (earlier this year)

Leonard Fournette - high arse pass that got him blasted in his thigh or knee (last game)

Trey Quinn (last year) - Nearly got the poor true freshman decapitated on a short pass.

I've heard of friendly fire, but this is getting ridiculous! And I am being serious.

They've got to coach him harder. He needs to speed up his delivery. He still has a long wind up and he waits too long to throw. Some of it is his confidence and some is technique but it can all be addressed.

But....But.... YOU said before almost EVERY game that he would go for over 200 yds with 1 or 2 td's... You have been wrong all year about the QB play and this offense in general and when anyone called you out on it,you got all sissy and shite... Time to admit you were wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is why I hate fans some times.

It's the risk you take playing ball.

LOL you blame Harris on the pass to Fournette, that's not his fault. That is a designed play they made a tremendous play on

Trey Quinn going over the middle, that is always a risk

I am so sick of LSU fans hating on players. Harris didn't get his guys killed. It's a violent sport. He's put the ball in their hands all season and they have dropped it too.

Some things can't be coached. Some things no matter how many times you teach it to a kid he just can't do it. Harris lacks natural QB instincts. That's the bottom line. He's tall, has a huge arm and can run. Measurables are good. But he sucks at playing the QB position at this level.

I thought I saw Harris helping Diarse off the field after another high pass? Was is someone else?

It's not his fault, it's the coaching man...don't you know?

Every QB makes throws that gets his pass catcher rocked. It's a part of football. Sorry.

It's absolutely his fault. Harris made one downfield read then immediately threw it to the flat without even checking to see if it was open.

you see players sustain injuries at other programs and everyone feels bad for that player and what happened.

you see it at LSU and LSU fans trash the quarterback

it is an unfortunate event. players go up high utilizing their abilities for a pass all the freaking time.. and are always ask risk for a nasty collision.

Harris has potential and a lot of times you give your guy a chance to make a man miss but on that play to Fournette it was far too late for that. That's a ball that should be thrown in the ground. He'll get there, he just needs more experience. Like the pass to Diarse on the sideline late. He waited too long to throw and gave the safety time to recover and get to the spot before the ball. He needs to get better at anticipating his receivers coming open and throwing them open. All of these things come with experience and learning from mistakes but this staff never gets him any experience in easy games. They always wait until we are playing from behind in big games and he's put in high pressure situations. I fully blame coaching for his development issues.

Yes, it's part of the game, but Harris hangs his receivers out to dry more often than any other QB I've ever seen. Hell, just last week, it got so bad Fournette started giving Harris looks.

Come on man, I watch football and I have never seen a QB lead his player into more head on collisions than Harris. I think he will improve, but I'm serious man just watch it.

I think Diarse was rocked on high pass as well, can't remember.

People want to say, "hey, everybody does this", and they do to a degree. The problem is Harris does this all the time. His high passes and late passing constantly, gives the receiver no room for error.

To be fair, a true sophomore should still be riding the pine waiting for his turn.

I look to the head man for our troubles at the qb position. Eta....troubles that have been an ongoing problem.

I will say I can't believe how bad of a short thrower he is.

If the throw was accurately made, Leonard could have prepared for or perhaps avoided the hit. I'm not sure what Harris' biggest deficiency is: his lack of pocket awareness or his frightening inaccuracy (it seems every other pass is inaccurate). Either way its not good.

Harris is fine. Les Miles and this staff are killing this pass scheme by very obviously not putting the work in during the practice week. There is no other explanation. There is not one single route combination that this QB/WR corp is comfortable executing on a regular basis.
