They don't act like players who are in fear of being "reamed out". That's my point. They look like players who don't know what the frick they are doing. They are poorly coached.

The 4th down at the 1 is a PERFECT example. There should be absolutely no question that the correct play should be called and that everyone should know what is going on after walking away from Miles after a TO. That was our last gasp, and OM didn't have to lift a finger. We literally stopped ourselves.

If this play was an isolated incident in a clean game, then the players would deserve the brunt of the criticism, but in a game with double digit penalties? Those are red flags you can't ignore. Well coached teams don't make these kinds of mistakes for an entire season. Players need to be accountable, but a consistent, team-wide lack of discipline falls on the staff. They are there to create a system and set a tone. Our staff has no "process." When your "best" O Linemen are false starting and your senior LB can't line up onside, that indicates deep rooted, program-wide issues.

It's been that way since day 1. I remember some of the early interviews with players during his first spring, which were along the lines of ' he's not as strict'. Or skylar Green's comments when he was picked up by Bill Parcels after playing for Saban then Miles, he said it was good to be with a coach again that focuses on details and held players accountable.
