My daughter was big on naming things...so I called liquid medicine "feel good juice" and she adapted and wanted it if she felt bad.
I always had an easier time with liquid than pill form. She hated children tylenol for some reason...eventually I figured out it was the size of it that bothered her...so started breaking it into about 4 pieces and she took it that way.
I only had to put her in a headlock once...she is a quick learner...after the first headlock and force, she learned she didn't want to do that any longer...so just the threat of daddy holding her and making her take it got her right.
