Same with Hahnville and Destrehan's. I've only been to one Lafourche stadium that was completely filled with people in all my years; SL in playoffs 1977 vs Shaw. That year the only game Hahnville won was the SL game and SL won state. I would guess when CL and SL play each other they fill it up though, the rivalry is fierce.

The CL/SL home sides are almost always filled. Thibodaux is filled only when they winning. As far as entire stadium filled your right those are far and few between, but the stadiums are big so if we had most 5A schools stadiums it would look packed every time. HLB/CL this year was nearly filled though, and CL/SL always packed. 2009 though was the last time people overflowed to the track for that game.

I've never seen Destrehan completely filled except for a Desty/Hahnville game. Been to a handful of playoff games there in the past 10 or so years that weren't filled even the Evangel w/ Booty, Jacob Hester quarterfinal? game wasn't that packed from what I remember. Also, just curious is homecoming not that big a deal in St Charles parish? Cause we played them this year for homecoming and the home side was only a little over half filled. I'm sure they thought the it was going to be a cupcake game, but homecoming is pretty big in Lafourche and is a HUGE deal in Terrebonne parish.

It's not that big a deal at either school. They do a bunch of things all week but since the dances are on Saturday night it seems the game is nothing special to most kids.

I was suprised Friday night at the Hahnville-Alexandria game that there were so many empty seats on the home side and Alexandria brought basically no one. Of course since it was on TV that may have played a factor; along with duck and deer seasons.

Going to the games at Terrebonne stadium when we play there is really depressing. Seems like not many folks support the teams down there. Playing soccer on that field after football ends is dangerous; it gets chewed up so bad during football with all the games played on it. My son said you couldn't get a ball to roll smooth if you had to.
