Consistency would be nice. Especially if that involves consistently playing players in their natural positions.

Dead give away for those that have never stepped foot on a soccer field.
Sure, some guys, and positions, are more specialized than others, but almost all of these professional players have spent their entire lives playing all over the place.

My question is do y'all really think he doesn't know it would be better to play, for example, Danny Williams at 6 instead of on the wing against Jamaica a few years ago?
It doesn't take a soccer genius to know that ideally you would have everyone playing in their best position.
Clearly Klinsmann does that because he thinks it's a better option than whoever else is available to play that position in the player pool. He thinks our wing options suck, so he tries different good (or high potential in his opinion) players there hoping they can make a difference playing out of position.
You can disagree with his choices without acting like you don't understand what he's trying to do.
Do y'all really think he would play people out of position if he thought there were better people available?
If your answer to this post is that you fully understand what's going on, my response is that it's very hard to tell, given how the same argument is made over and over every time anyone discusses the national team.
