For those of you who follow this situation and politics in general, what effect could Russia's bombings have on US involvement in this conflict??

Besides showing how weak our current administration is?
Russia is protecting Syria and Russia's warm water port in the area. Also, Russia's oil and future pipelines come into play here.
Ultimately, Russia involved in ME is bad for the US as it weakens our position.
