called and received on the field? This is not limited to Cam. This has been the norm throughout the tenure of Less.

Why do we have back to back delay of game penalties? Why do we have a penalty trying to kick the ball off? Why do we constantly have clock issues?

i was thinking about this the other day, either cameron has no idea what he wants to work next or he has to send the call down to miles then miles ok's or vetoes the play forcing him to find a new one and starting the process all over again. thats my best guess

I agree they need to fix this issue on offense.

I will say I honestly felt they were strangely spotting the ball and starting the clock much quicker than normal on the series where we got the penalties backed up on the goal line against Bama.

The team still sucks at getting the call in and run many times ussually though.

Same with defense, I've never seen a defense so unorganized, always shuffling and acting like they don't know what they are doing or where to line up

Miles is changing the play to run up the middle.

That's the only logical explanation IMO. It's the pattern that has been present with Les and 3 different OC's.

They have a play called or sent in, then they see the defense, then change to a play with odds to do better against that defensive set. Changing plays after seeing the defense is a Pro ball thing. Colleges don't need to do that. We called the play in the huddle and never changed it, it was faster. No penalties.

Very difficult to concentrate on the next play when your wife is texting you to remind you to bring home milk.

I don't have a problem with changing the play at the line; however, it takes them the whole play clock to just walk up to the line of scrimmage.

actually lots of college teams do this. its called "check with me" offense. doing this actually forces you to be more efficient on offense. you have several plays ready to go and choose the best one based on the defensive look after the dummy snap count. i don't see us doing this a lot, most of the time there is less than 15 on the play clock before the call gets in and the players start to get lined up. for this to work the offense needs to be lined up and set with about 20 on the play clock

It's been like that since I can remember. Poor, indecisive coaching imo.

Les is calling the plays and I it just takes too damn long for it to get to the team.
