he only wants to throw down field. one particular play stood out to me 3rd and 8 lf7 was open 6 yards down the field instead he throws it 25 yards incomplete.

Harris negatives:

Terrible reads.
Bad throwing motion.
Waits too long in the pocket.
No leadership skills.
Slow we he runs on the option reads.
No touch on short, intermediate routes.
There's more but I'm tired...

He is a sophomore.

How many sophomores have had great success in the SEC as the starting QB in the last 30 years.

How many have won an SEC championship.

the "he's young" excuse. So old. A freshman in high school can run a 5 yard out or screen. He can't. Are you watching the games?

I am so sick of the 'young' excuse- you either 'have-it' or you don't. Harris is not the long-term answer; he has made some nice throws at times, but it is starting to look like he has 'maxed out' as to his ability.

Haven't missed a play all year . And will be happy to match your football intelligence if you want to make this personal .

Now answer my question.

How many underclassmen have won the SEC since Hodson ?

oh look, another super fan. Who cares about the days of Hodson? What a joke. Answer my question, why can't we complete a 5 yard out or hitch? It's unreal.

The point is the young man is young. It has nothing to do with the Hodson years.never said it did . Nice attempt at deflection . The answer is I think I can count them on one hand . Does that not tell you anything about the position and what it takes to develop there .

He throws quick passes that don't take a quick read very well. He doesn't have the timing to throw a screen not the touch yet .that's pretty obvious. I saw progress last night on the short game. If you are unwilling to cede the fact that sophomore QBs in this league are seldom big time successful and winners then we need to move on. Lets revisit the conversation next year when Harris is lighting things up and the game begins to slow down a bit for him. Even better when he is a senior and drawing high praise around the country .

Usually on 3rd and 8 LSU will pass for 6 yards so I'm glad he's throwing past the sticks at least

Maybe if the coaches sent out more than one receiver and coached them to get to the sticks, we could get first downs.

Stop acting like a fricking moron and try to comprehend what he's asking. Name the SEC QBs that have won this conference as a freshman or sophomore. Tebow didn't win it until he was a junior.

stop deflecting the issue dipshi*t. This team is unprepared, sloppy, not discliplined. I could care less if he's a 5th year senior. He will not develop under this staff. They are not capable. A receiver or DB can get away with that and still succeed at the next level but not a QB.

This is a thread specifically about Harris so don't start moving the goalposts to back your bullshite.
