The old NOLA mobs are pretty much dying out. Back in the early 60's places like Delmonico's were regular hangouts. One of my grandmother's family came to New Orleans from Sicily around the turn of the century. Pretty sure my great uncle was involved in a crew at a low level. Some real greaseball dudes were always around and his funeral was like something from the Soprano's.
