Fan base...chances with the fans.

Right, and conversely, its not wrong or shiting on the program to point out things that stink.

It isn't, I agree. The problem is that that's been happening since long before any valid criticisms were available to harp on. Ranting endlessly for over a decade until you're finally right is just no way to live...

You don't want an honest conversation because it might involve some negativity where CLM is concerned. It's called super-sensitivity.

See above. Most that are currently on Miles' arse were on it way WAY before January of 2012. That's just true, and every honest LSU fans knows this. I don;t find anything worthwhile in engaging in an "honest" discussion with fans who have been dishonestly discussing Miles' shortcoming before any really existed...whether there are some now or not.

Operative words....he took....no one twisted his arm to come here. You make it sound like he had a gun to his head. He knew the microscope he was fixing to crawl under.

Not at all. But can we not step back and be honest and at least admit that that's some VERY shitty luck? the man takes over a monster program, gets it rolling EVEN bigger, and then while many in the fan base are still whispering that they prefer the old coach the old coach not only comes back to college football but comes back in the same division...and when he comes back, he's WAY better than before? No one would even write that kind of a story because it sounds fricking absurd.

Now, are you through with your own personal pity party?

Ironically, I'm not the one that's lived the past decade angry during LSU football season, have I? I've enjoyed the ever living frick out of our success, even when there have been failures. This is entertainment, after all...and it's provided a shite ton of it for me. My only regret is that I've had to share the stadium with whiny fricks that have been miserable the entire time we've been on our greatest run ever. Other than that, I'm swell.

Part of being a mature adult is accepting people may think differently than yourself. There are legitimate arguments on both sides, but failure of either to see another point of view is what puts the tard in rantard on the Tiger Rant.

These are the glory years of LSU football, but yes...there are legitimate arguments that the program has underachieved in some years and the conservative approach that the staff has taken is a major contributor.

I agree with some of what you say and there has been some unwarranted criticism of Miles in the past.

But, I don't believe in luck. You make your own "luck."

If I sell a house with a big commission (which as a real estate guy) is my ultimate goal every day, I sure as hell don't attribute it to "luck." Frick that dumb shite!
I worked my azz trying to figure out a way to unload that big heifer and when I sell it, it was my hard work and determination that did it...not "luck."

Miles needs to adapt his game plan to figure out how to beat BAMA...period. His lack of adapting (in a more timely manner) has been my only real problem with the man over the years.
Case in point, the STs...which continue to suck with no end in sight.
