Bc we loss to that number 4 team by 2 TDs and a 1 loss SEC champ will not get left out. Only way for that to happen is if UF loses to FSU. The game Saturday night was not pretty and only way for LSU to be in CFP is to to be in SECCG. No one on here would say that UF would deserve to be in over LSU if roles were reversed and LSU lost to UF but wins the SEC over UGA or some other east team and UF in position LSU is in right now. A 1 loss SEC team gets in over a 1 loss non SEC champ.

I think we need Bama to lose. I think one loss conference champs would still be ranked ahead of us. So while someone like Ohio State could lose and drop below us. They would jump us with a win in the Big 10 title game while we are idle.

I agree with you that 1-loss Notre Dame against a relatively weak schedule shouldn't take priority over a one-loss LSU or Big 12 champ, but based in brand name they would.

ND's resume is highlighted by a win over "mighty" temple, a close loss to Clemson, and win over schizophrenic USC.
