I know we just lost to Alabama (Bad) but before the season started I personally saw a lot of articles that had us finishing in last, or second to last place, in the west. So, my question is, if LSU wins out and finishes the season 10-1 and in the top 10 in the country, do we still complain about Les Miles? Honestly, I have been saying before the season started that we are a year away from our best team in years. We are still young in a lot of key positions and Brandon Harris has continued to improve. We got out coached last night, plain and simple! But with Bama being in death valley next year, I see us handling them! But if the same thing happens next year that happened last night, then I will lose a lot of the faith I have in Les.

A lot of football left to play guys.

The bandwagon fans will jump ship and the normal fans need a few days to vent. By Tuesday it will be fine.

If we can't beat Alabama in their rebuilding year, when will we ever?

We can blame Les for the 8,9,10 wins per season and we can blame him for the 1-2 losses a season. His offensive philosophy will win 80% of the games or more, but unfortunately, bama is in tho other 10-20%.

Good point. Not many of the so called "experts" would have had us at 7-1 the day after the bama game. Hell, there was a ton of our own fans that post on the rant that didn't think we would be close to having this record right now. Alot of football to played yet. Win or lose, I'm not giving up on the coaches or team.

We got out coached and out played last night, plain and simple.

I will never give up on our players but I have given up on expecting Miles to have us in position to beat Saban. I don't expect anything to change against them next season. We will have the same gameplan and likely get the same exact results.

In my mind, you can have all the talent in the world, which we do, but if the coaches continually set us up to fail, like on Saturday, then we'll never amount to anything.

We are stuck in archaic coaching style, and we are getting burned by it. It's frustrating to see, year in and year out.

I had the 2015 team going 7-5 and 3-5 in conference play, largely because I believed LSU would not develop a passing attack this season. I've been wrong on both counts (and happy to be proven wrong for that matter).

A 9-2 or 10-1 season would far exceed my expectations and I'd salute the coaches and most important of all THE PLAYERS for this kind of record.

Does strong finish require that we beat Arkansas next week? If so, I am not sure how possible this strong finish is that you're referring to.
