I use my 336 Marlin in the Honey Island, use a 3x9 Tasco Golden Antler with see through mounts, usually shoot 150's... Not many shots over 50 yards...
Realize it's not the greatest scope, but if I drop it in a slough, I'm don't have to worry....

Out of all the firearms i own i still do not have a lever gun. It is definitely on my list. ANy of you lever gun hunters use the hornady leverevolution rounds?
