Most annoying, is Yale will probably fire the professor.
Her "be quiet" was the most disrespectful thing I've heard a kid say to a professor though.

Absolutely no way Yale fires that guy. If anything he'll probably be celebrated by academia for being restrained but not backing down. I think there's beginning to be a push back from professors on this nonsense and they're not quite as handcuffed as high school teachers who have to just take the abuse.
If Yale does fire him, I will be seriously reconsidering my enrollment there in the spring.
