Technically, yes I suppose. But it really has no bearing in the world we live in today.
Hell Arsenal went what 10 years with out a trophy and yet are still a big club.
Villa played in the FA Cup final last year
2 league crowns and one fa cup and a league cup with no success in Europe since 2008 and over a billion pounds spent just doesn't make you a big club. A Yoyo club doesn't become a big club over night.
