How come they won district and didn't host a playoff game? Mox says they never played on that field again, yet they just finished like a 2 loss season. Pretty sure they would host at least the 1st round of the playoffs. And who the hell coached them in the playoffs??? So many unanswered questions.

Nah. Schools in Texas don't 'host' playoff games. They're played at neutral sites.
However, who was the coach in the playoffs is a great question.

He actually says he never played football again... which is of course preposterous because the game gave them the district title.
And for some of us, it ended without us knowing.
Maybe these were the last days.
I never played football again. But I will never forget that day.

Kilmer never coached again.
I took my scholarship and will graduate from Brown University.
