I haven't seen this talked about much. This, to me, is the biggest change in freshman LF and sophomore LF. The high school LF was able to get the ball, take off and out run opponents or run over people. He had the same style last year. Certainly if he sees a wide enough gap he takes off and we all know what happens once he gets three yards past the line of scrimmage with room to run. But, it has been noticeable how he has waited for blocks and run behind blockers. The progress in one year has been noticeable and an amazing sight to see.
