It should be a dead ball once snead recovers i think. If its blown dead, then wing likely doesnt facemask tackle snead.
Again, we deserved a call after the first 59 mins, was just curious if the refs fricked this one up royally

The face mask happened pretty much instantaneously after the recovery. They may have tried to blow it dead, but it wouldn't have mattered. Wing would have still made the tackle. And it doesn't matter if the play is over. That penalty will be called any time.

No, it was a live fumble; the play was not over until the ball was ruled dead. If Snead recovered it and the Giants stripped the ball again, it would have been their ball (less 15 yards for facemask).
