Take off your P & G Glasses. That was a borderline call that could have have gone either way. There was bobbling by Petersen. Even though he had his first foot apparently down. I could make a case for it being an interception and a case for it not being one, even on replay. There is no clear evidence that he had complete possession and there is no clear evidence that he didn't have possession. The bottom line is that it did not cost LSU the game, just a possession. Jarrett Lee still would have to lead LSU to a score.
It is time to get over the call anyway. It has been 6 years!!
