I was there too.....we drove to Birmingham 7 of us in a bright yellow Ford pinto.......afterwards just sucked.

I just have this feeling Saturday night is going to be special

That '74 loss ranks high on the list of worst LSU losses. Everyone thought the Tigers were about to turn around a disappointing season the week before, when they shut out Ole Miss on homecoming 24-0. One note of trivia: my 1967 Dodge Coronet stalled out TWICE right after the Ole Miss win, in the same location, in front of the Hodges dormitory. I got a boost TWICE, from the same young man. I didn't hang around after the second battery boost to find out if the guy was pissed off.
