This is terrible and I'm so sorry you're going through that. If there's anything you want to apologize to him about, do it now. As a dad, I can't imagine going through life knowing my son did or said something to hurt me and not getting closure. You'll both feel better after.
Spend as much time with him right now as you can. frick your job. There will be other jobs out there - now is the time to spend with your dad and the rest of your family.
