The hypocrisy of fans and analysts in football when it comes to running vs passing is hilarious.
If you have an incredible running game and a shitty qb, everyone focuses on the shitty qb and talks about how much your offense sucks.
If you have an incredible passing game and no running game, no one even notices.
If you rely on a runningback, somehow that player is isolated further from the team. One play and he is injured and LSU sucks! One trick pony on offense!!
Well what the frick about Boykin at TCU?
Its just funny how much modern college football fans hate on and slight teams that focus on running the ball

Can we please go back to the old lettering in the endzones?

I was listening to Mike and Mike this morning and they named their top 4 teams to make the playoffs at present. Both of them named Florida first and said they were their most solid choice. What?! A team that has lost their QB and is anywhere from 7-9 points underdog to an undefeated LSU team is their number one pick?! I don't get this.

I can't wait either, but if you are expecting Harris to throw anything north of 22 passes you are in for a disappointing evening.
the advantage of LSU's one trick is that they are really really good at executing it.

:kige:
We put up 600 yards of offense with 400 running and 200 passing. The response to that is one-trick pony, wait till they have to pass the ball.
Someone puts up 600 yards of offense with 400 passing and 200 running. The response is lets all suck the dick of the genius offensive coordinator who put up such staggering numbers.

They're right.
No one has been able to stop it though.

We're gonna ride that pony all the way to the Chapionship

Damn it! ESPN is on to LSU's gimmick. I guess now that ESPN has identified how one dimensional the attack is, the Tigers shouldn't expect to win any more games. Another season down the drain, foiled by those nosey journalists!

You are dreaming thinking he goes for 300.

tOSU is currently a one trick poney, as is 90% of big 12.

A one trick pony doesn't have the type of wide receivers and tight ends that we do. They might be able to take a couple rounds of us hitting them in the mouth, but by the 4th, LSU will be running them over.

what do you expect them to say.
9-14 71 yds vs state
11-19 100 yds vs au
8-16 157 vs Syracuse
4-14 80 yds east mich
That totals 32-63 408 yds
Our run pass ratio is 75-25, only the option service academies are higher. plus all of our "highly rated" recievers seem to have a hard time getting off of press coverage and catching the ball, which is pretty important to a reciver

It's just the same folks, like Jason Sehorn. He just said on TV that Harris has to throw for 3 or more TDs and 250-300 yards for LSU to win
The smart guys like Trevor Matich are recognizing that Harris has protected the ball thus far, and has given LSU enough passing.
Don't worry, after the game the narrative will be that UF was w/o Grier, and LSU won't play a front 7 like bama's. Same shite, different day.

A win will be nice, but Florida has been talking quite a bit this off season

Why are people getting upset over shite that is true.
"Florida fans are saying we haven't played anybody, can you believe that? How dare them!"
ummm... thats because we haven't played anybody. Who cares?
ESPN is calling us a 1 trick pony! How dare them!
uhhhh.... thats because we are. Don't let the truth bother you. Fournette is unstoppable.
