re: Notice of delinquent debt from Louisiana OMV from 13 years ago

I got one of those years ago. DMV screwed up the VIN on the vehicle in question. Contacted my insurance company and they sent me a document that showed proof of coverage and mailed it back to the state. About a year later they sent another notice for the exact same thing and I sent another copy of the document and highlighted the part that shows their mistake in the records. About 6 months later I go in to register another vehicle and that same issue pops up again. I go home, get the insurance document, and have them fix it in person. LA DMV is run and staffed by retards.
