Well, they need matter to create these things, so still they would likely siphon stars and planets for the matter they need. Type 2 Civilizations require a mass supply of energy, and they've got to mine the material to make black holes and antimatter (which does not occur naturally).

Again, they need matter as we know it to do these things.

That's sort of my point. You're speaking in absolutes about what this particular set of species requires. That's all based on earth principles.

I feel like I'm not explaining myself well, which is often the case in this type of thread. But we have no idea what they are capable of or the kinds of things they'd have access to, and shite like that. Even based on our earth principles, for all we know they may have mastered things like energy and are focused on things far more advanced than that (things we can't even begin to acces or understand).

You do realize there is more antimatter than matter in the universe right?
