If used those strainers before when the doctor wanted to analyze it. The one I just passed though I didn't. Just saw it shoot out and heard the "tink" when it hit the urinal.

If you haven't gotten any Uribel or Azo Standard (not the cranberry) have someone get you some. It's a "urinary analgesic" that reduces some of the pain.
