There are only a few teams that can stop our O line and LF. USCe did it for the entire first half, but we managed to keep the lead. What if another team is able to do it but they can also put up more points that USCe?

How long do we stick with the run in the second half without the lead?

That is how you beat LSU. Get a lead, and take the run game away in the second half, which is when we have absolutely demolished defenses and run away with games weve won so far.

If/when LSU loses, this is how i see it happening.

Miles is notorious for not doing any more than he has to against inferior competition. However, that tendency doesn't really translate to big games.

I like that your method for beating LSU is basically the same method for any team in the history of football. Also, and this is worth pointing out because it keeps getting repeated without any real thought put into it, USC didn't stop our running game in the first half. They limited LF to around 50 yards but the rushing offense was over 100 yards at the half, which is a bit below our pace but are pace is ridiculous and we also passed it a hell of allot more in the first half than we usually do so the average per play wasn't terrible.

LSU got TDs on two of its first four possessions, and then was moving the ball well on its fifth but ran into halftime and had to kick a FG (I understand that it was fourth down, but the playcalling would have been different had it not been the end of the half).

In the two LSU possessions that failed to score, there was one unsuccessful Leonard Fournette rush of any significance:
1st and 10 at SC 32
(0:05 - 1st) Leonard Fournette run for a loss of 4 yards to the SCaro 36

Every other meaningful play that stopped the drives was an incomplete pass (and one completed pass with an illegal block):
2nd and 14 at SC 36
(14:55 - 2nd) Brandon Harris pass incomplete to Travin Dural
3rd and 14 at SC 36
(14:50 - 2nd) Brandon Harris pass incomplete to Leonard Fournette

Other non-scoring possession:
1st and 10 at SC 44
(5:00 - 2nd) Brandon Harris pass complete to Leonard Fournette for 1 yd to the LSU 43 LSU Penalty, Illegal Block (Bry'Kiethon Mouton) to the LSU 47
1st and 19 at LSU 47
(4:42 - 2nd) Brandon Harris pass incomplete
2nd and 19 at LSU 47
(4:26 - 2nd) Brandon Harris run for 5 yds to the SCaro 48
3rd and 14 at SC 48
(3:55 - 2nd) Brandon Harris pass complete to DeSean Smith for 11 yds to the SCaro 37

Again, USC had literally one single meaningful defensive play against an LSU rush that contributed in any way to the outcome of the game. ONE.

If every team "stops our O line and LF" the way SC did, we won't lose a game...
