Didn't we nearly beat Bama last year? We are a better rushing offense this season. They had a better O and the same D then.. we are a better team this year..

Do we really "have" to throw to win? We match up well with anyone.

It would be nice to be balanced no doubt, but we should be in it regardless.

We beat Ole Miss without qb play last year..

Any ways, LSU is doing what they need to do to win. Sure we will need to mix it up no doubt, but this team has an identity. Alabama hasn't faced a team like us.. Arkansas ran a little vs them, but they aren't as stacked as LSU..

People are having a real difficult time understanding just what we have at running back and at OL. They have also only seen the tip of the iceberg in our potential at passing the ball.

What's funny is that LSU has led every game they have played this year by double digits in the second half. They haven't exactly had to open up and show all of their wrinkles on offense.

Also, people are blasting our defense...no matter that Mills is out and a lot of our blown assignments have been due to Thomas....that will change soon. However, other defenses, thought to be incredible, have given up their share of points as well. Alabama is giving up 16 points a game...despite playing horrible offenses such as Wisconsin, ULM, Middle Tenn, and Arkansas (not horrible but certainly not great or close to the running ability of LSU).

With fans like ours...who needs rival team fans to talk badly about our team.

This is the best front seven Nick Saban has ever had as a collegiate coach. The secondary this year is playing light years ahead of where they were a year ago. The new DB coach was the best hire we've made in a while. The two freshmen are ballhawks and Eddie Jackson is playing a position where he's a coverage asset and not a liability. This is far from the "we'll stop your run but here's some burnt toast" defense we fielded a year ago. Top to bottom we've got the best defense in the country. It's deep and talented at every level. I'm not willing to say we will "shut down" Fournette, he's the best player in the country. To date though, this will be the best defense he has played against in his entire life.
