LSU is 14th in Total Defense.
They've given up 4 plays of 40+ yards, tied for 33rd in the country.
They've given up 8 plays of 30+ yards, tied for 32nd in the country.
They've given up 13 plays of 20+ yards, tied for 10th in the country.
They've given up 54 plays of 10+ yards, tied for 14th in the country.
They're also tied for 11th in the country for fewest Defensive Redzone Attempts.
Yet they rank 49th in Scoring Defense... our special teams also 127th in Punt Coverage and 117th in Kickoff Coverage.

I don't follow recruiting that close, but according to quite a few of the posters here on the rant, Chavis wouldn't drag his fat lazy arse off campus to recruit anyone. And it's easy to believe when you look at the depth we have at the linebacker and defensive line positions.
