I'm a big fan of Dangs. There are several good Vietnamese places down Florida Boulevard - Saigon is good, Saigon Noodles. Although I went to Saigon for a bahn mi and they didn't have them on the menu anymore.

As far as good Cajun food near campus, I'll echo The Chimes and Parrain's. They have the same owners and overlapping menu items. Chimes has a better beer selection, but that may not be an issue for lunch, especially if it will be between interviews for a residency. Neither place is super-duper Cajun, but you can get good boudin balls, etouffee, gumbo and fried seafood.

Sammy's is also another good place for lunch. And I like Acme Oyster House a lot. They do a good job with fried seafood.

Oh and for a change of pace, check out Chelsea's Cafe. It's a pretty chill spot with good, vegetarian friendly fare...and they have good fried chicken.
