They gave people three days to cancel whatever they have planned then offered them this great opportunity at a price no lower than $160 for a family of four...fricking absurd.

I don't know why people think this is overpriced for a premier college football game.

Because it was advertised as being understaffed an undersupplied. ASU charged NO ADMISSION when the game vs LSU was moved to Tempe, and thats the closest example we can get right now.

This game wasn't scheduled in advance so people have things to do (work, events, etc) and the motivation was clearly not to fill the stands, then LSU and the media bitches when the stands arent full.

LSU football is an event and when half the people at your tailgate can't go and now there is no tailgate and it is advertised by the AD as basically being a skeleton crew, the impression is that this is not just another game. It's thrown together at the last minute and they overcharged their half arse effort.

This is exactly also the same train of thought LSU had. They figured this is a premier game with an elite player so people will drop what they;re doing because this is LSU and the SEC.

Take a look at our Spring game numbers, it should be no shock to anyone that LSU's fanbase (while passionate) has plenty of hobbies and the culture of LSU goes beyond the football field and is more about the experience than the game for ALOT of people or business who sponsor the program and purchase blocks of tickets.
