the problem with his rookie year is that shanny developed the safest, simplest passing structure that relied heavily on his mobility
it was a really good rookie year and i'm not claiming otherwise. what i'm saying is that it was a lost year of actual NFL QB development and relying on that offense basically just let teams tee off his rookie year and then they had the offense shut down by year 2
