This will be my 1st year using the grim reaper white tail special 2" cut jw if anyone has any experience with it good bad or indifferent

I've been using the 100gr 1 1/2" cut for years and love them. Just make sure they are set right so that they will open properly. I've heard people who say theirs never fully expanded. I've never had that problem. Oh and keep them oiled if they are old.
