hat makes Myles Jack any more special than Leonard Fournettes, Nick Chubbs, Trevone Boykins of the world?
quote:oh, so because it happens to everyone, that makes it ok?
This happens to every decent college athlete

quote:they kinda did. you think he gets drafted if he doesnt play college ball?
Noone forced him to agree to play for ucla for free. He made the damn decision to go there knowing he wouldn't be compensated

Only thing with his likeness being sold is his jersey number and they aren't making millions on that.
They get travel stipends, tuition, tutors, living, clothes, etc all for free. That adds up to a lot of money the school is investing in every athlete they have through all sports, not just Myles Jack. The myth that they don't see a cent is just not true.

If he has a problem with this, he should have never signed his LOI. No one forced him to do it. It's not that hard to understand.

Well that's just dumb. You can't pick and choose who to pay.

still dont see how
Well if you want them to see actual cash money then they do. Every single time they travel they are given a travel stipend, everyone gets it from the team to the mascot. But if you don't see the value in a free education that other students are paying $50,000+ for then I don't know what else to tell you.

Exactly. Everything works out for him so he just needs to quit complaining, rehab his knee, do well at the combine, and everything will work out, and he'll get paid a good amount of money. If you can grasp this, then you're a fricking idiot dude. Sorry but I don't what else to tell you.
