cheering for the opponent is almost a sign of our Cocky (get it?) 'ness that we're just rubbing it in their face that you're so bad and we're so good that we pity you and feel the need that we're now able to clap for you peons.

I just don't get why LSU fans think these gestures are so noble. It is a football game, in Baton Rouge, no matter how you slice it LSU fans are going to cheer and be vested in their own team.
