whats your middle ground?

size up the person you just pulled over and make a snap judgement if they are dangerous or not before you decide to let them berate you or disobey your request to hand over their license?

Well, why not just let them use deadly force then in your scenario. After all, it's better than the cop being killed, right?

Some of you would really benefit by reading The Gulag Archipelago. Your mentality is really no different than Soviet citizens in the mid twentieth century. When there friends and family members were being snatched by the government, they remained passive and said the exact same things that so of you are saying. Again, as an American, I find this scary.

Exactly. Humans are just fancy dogs or apes. They in a twisted way like being dominated and abused by the pack leader, in this case cops and all powerful govt. it makes them feel secure and powerful themselves to be on the same side as the abusers.

The need of most humans to be dominated is what allows us to have civilized society, but there is a very dark side of that resulting in support for abusive all powerful governments
