He's asking for infantry. Scored an 82 on the "test" and has one year of college.

If that's what he wants, there's no stopping him.
On the flip side, there are some great careers that will see him leaving Active Duty with technical degrees in Communications, Intel Analysis etc that would also give him a higher security clearance.
If he's going for a career, then Infantry is great.
If he's going for the kicks and college $$ Infantry is great.
If he wants immediate job opportunity after one enlistment he needs to find something else.

Not sure how the test works. Whats it out of and what does a higher score mean? higher pay?
