get that. The problem is Fournette is doing something special right now. No reason to not keep doing that. After watching our WRs drop ball after ball Saturday and our o-line collapse around Harris I'm ok with it. I would like to see Harris get more opportunities rolling out and out of the shotgun. We're a week away from a fricking buzz saw defense so I'd like to do what we do really well.
That UF D is the most worrisome. To pass you will have to either have 3 step drops from under center or quick passes from the shotgun. We haven't done much of that. WRs and QB have to be on same page, have to get off line quickly, find soft spots in zone (for those not being covered by VHIII), etc.

I understand taking what the D is giving and if safety is cheating or can be steered with QB's eyes, then go for it. But sustaining drives with a short-to-intermediate passing game against that rush depending on which OL shows up (pass protection) knowing that they are confident enough to load up against LF is worrisome.

Yup. 2 big TEs, big o-line, fullback, one receiver, dual threat QB, and a monstrous RB.... Imagine how demoralizing it would be for a defense to know that an offense is going to run, but you cant stop it.
I love seeing that. It is a thing of beauty. Did that to UF 2 years ago to ice the game. But that usually is a 4th qtr venture. Have to get to that point first.

The problem LSU creates is the o-line and TEs are so good at point of attack that it's pulling safeties up and by the time they get there Fournette is already past the 2nd level. You want to say how great UF's D is, fine, but LSU is equally as good running the ball.

If the defense is too aggressive, Harris will escape the collapsing pocket. He ran all over Auburn's over agressive scheme. It's going to be pick your poison. Plus, we can also bring use more read option to keep the defense guessing
