Crock Pot meat is terrible. I'll just do beans in it from now on.

Recently I've done chicken, beef & pork and the meats are tender, but just don't taste very good. And canned biscuits as dumplings in the crock pot are terrible as well.

You suck at crock pot.

I put a big roast in our slow cooker last week with the usual kitchen bouquet, carrots, chopped new potatoes....it was super tender and super moist.
Have you ever had something turn out good?

Pulled pork tacos, pulled chicked tacos, chili, queso and red beans are about all I do in the crock pot.

Joe Simmer has a bunch of crockpot recipes that are good.
There's a chicken tortilla soup recipe in it that you and Aubrey would like. Y'all could make it together this afternoon.

I've always found crock pot meat to be tender but dry, chicken especially. That is why I have switched to a pressure cooker. The meat falls apart and stays incredibly moist, plus I can throw it together when I get home instead of having to do it in the morning and it cooks in less than an hour. I use mine 2-3 times a week. It also can work as a crockpot so there is that.
