For all the people bashing me, I wonder what they would do in the same situation having never met the kid before that day.

Would their conversation go like this:

Kid: "I'll mow your yard for $28 per time."

You: "No. That's too cheap, son. I suspect you may be retarded and selling yourself short, so how 'bout we settle on $40 per time? Deal?"


What these people seem to forget is that I wasn't willing to pay anyone to mow my yard. I want to be in control of my own yard. The fact that I even allowed myself to be sold by this kid is incredible and more a compliment to him than an insult.
