I would remember him around Christmas time when you tip the rest of your service providers. Toss him a cool fifty dollar bill and call it a day. I understand the idea of wanting control of your yard, but it's hard to find kids like him these days. Take advantage of his availability, and reward him for the effort and competence.

Exactly. I could probably mow my yard with a bit more attention to detail, but he's reliable, does a good job, and always pays attention to the weather (even more than I do). Not to mention that I admire him for his sales prowess and he's a good hardworking kid.

He's certainly going to receive a Christmas bonus.
