The solo on "Rock Around the Clock " as recorded by Bill Haley and the Comets was also pretty epic for that era of music. The solo was played by NYC session player Danny Cedrone who was paid $21 bucks for the effort.

"I'd love the change the world" by Ten Years After. Really underrated. Not iconic but really great.
