May not be related to local pride.....but I think Dallas is more like Atlanta or Nashville than Houston. People dress more preppy there for whatever reason. Houston is more casual like Memphis or OKC....which is IMO a good thing.
Sometimes I think Baton Rouge is becoming more like Atlanta than Houston in character.
