This is what is going to happen. The Seahawks are about to nosedive. We are already seeing some cracks. The franchise is going to implode when the Legion of Boom disappears over the next two years. Charlie Strong serves his purpose by doing enough to revamp the culture of the Longhorn program from one of entitled indolence and complacency to a program that has hunger, but it's not enough to keep his job in 2017.

Meanwhile, Carroll, who is older and disillusioned with his franchise and the NFL, but is not ready to hang it up just yet, is attracted by the money UT offers as well as the opportunity of rebuilding a program of Texas' caliber.
