A lot is being made our of Les Miles 'lose-lose' situation vs Bama where if he wins, it's with Saban's players.

But a tough, physical loss for Bama could easily send them into a tailspin with Miss St and Auburn still left to play. Winning the bowl game is never a lock after a tough SEC season. A 4, 5 or even 6 loss season would not look good for Saban, especially if he loses to Auburn.

So I wouldn't say Bama has nothing to lose in this game. It could ruin their otherwise good season and impact recruiting.

LOL... do you really believe that Alabama is going to lose its next 4 games?

Alabama was picked by the national media to go either 7-5 or 8-4 this year.

If we lose to LSU and Auburn then we will finish exactly as it was predicted.

If we win either of those then we finish much better than expected.

Now on the other hand if we actually win both of those games then it will be a disaster for both LSU and AUBURN.

There is no pressure on Alabama to win this game other than the hype.. Sure we want the win. Sure we want a chance to win the West and go to Atlanta... But noone in the national media expected us to before this season started.

I'm so tired of hearing this. Clue in. It's a Bama loss. That's all that counts!

How did Saban's players fare at Michigan State in 2002 ,Bobby Williams' 3rd year after Saban ?

Didn't Saban win his first SEC Championship with Dinardo's players? Isn't Saban winning with players Shula recruited that were on a team that only loss 2 games 2 seasons ago.

It's not only Bama fans that will say this, but sadly a lot of LSU fans will say the same thing.

I've been saying 6 losses all season for Bama. We'll see after the tailspin.

You can tell when pressure is on Alabama when they try to pretend there is no pressure on them and they try to tell you they expect to lose. They know this loss will pretty much destroy the Saban mystique in Louisiana once and for all.
